The Prayer of St. Richard of Chichester
Thanks be to Thee, my Lord Jesus Christ,
for all the benefits Thou has given me,
for all the pains and insults which Thou has borne for me.
O most merciful Redeemer, Friend, and Brother,
may I know Thee more clearly, love Thee more dearly, follow Thee more nearly,
day by day.

| Rev. Deb Seles is a native Chicagoan, having grown up in the Edison Park neighborhood. She received a degree in social work and worked for over 20 years as a vocational rehabilitation and disability specialist, helping people with disabilities identify alternate careers. She attended Seabury Western Seminary and served at St. Christopher's in Oak Park, while working full-time as the Executive Director for the L'Arche community, a faith-based agency where people with and without disabilities live.
After leaving L'Arche in 2005, she established her own spiritual direction practice and served as chaplain at Stroger Hospital through Bishop Anderson House, an Episcopal charity. She has also served in various interim capacities, most recently at St. Phillip's in Palatine.
Pastor Deb loves the outdoors, hiking in the national parks. She enjoys art and movement, and has done Interplay, a practice that connects body, mind and spirit. Two of her entries have made it into the book, 101 Reasons to be Episcopalian.

| Judy has been the director of music and organist at St. Richard’s since 2002. She graduated from Valparaiso University, IN with a degree in music. She earned the Organ Playing Certificate from the American Guild of Organists. Judy was organist at First Baptist Church of Berkeley CA, for 21 years, and at the Episcopal chapel at the University of California, Berkeley for two years prior to moving to Chicago. Judy enjoys working with children and other musicians and helps bring a wide range of music to St. Richard’s.
